Source of sediment:
1, from the air. Sediment, dust, microorganisms and spores can be introduced into the circulatory system with air, and sometimes insects will be brought into the system. When the environment around the cooling tower is polluted, the corrosive gases such as hydrogen sulfide, chlorine dioxide, ammonia and so on will react indirectly in the unit.
2, tap water. Without adverse supplementary water treatment will sediment, suspended solids and other microorganisms, into the water chiller, even clarification, filtration and disinfection will have good water turbidity and certain amount of material with health, to clarify the process that there might be a mixture of hydrolysis products, aluminum or iron ions in the water. In addition, however, after pretreatment, the dissolved salt in the water will be recycled into the water system
3, leakage from the process media. Leakage of water coolers, especially oil spills or certain organic matter, resulting in the deposition of sludge
4, from the chemical treatment agent, such as in the water cycle system with zinc salt or sentence phosphate inhibitor, then the formation of zinc or phosphoric acid scale.
